Scope
This Policy applies to personal information processed through the Aegis website and Services.
It does not govern independent third-party websites, platforms, or services linked from the website. Those parties maintain their own privacy practices.
A separate written agreement may provide additional confidentiality or data-handling terms for a custom engagement. If that agreement conflicts with this Policy, the written agreement controls for the applicable engagement.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Aegis, we may collect:

Transaction Information
products or subscriptions purchased;

Payment-card information may be collected directly by a payment processor rather than stored by Aegis.
Customer Content
We may collect questions, instructions, documents, datasets, portfolio information, business information, transaction materials, correspondence, and other content you voluntarily submit for analysis.
Customer Content may contain personal information relating to you or third parties. You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorized to provide it.

Aegis may use artificial intelligence systems, quantitative models, and automated tools to assist with research, evidence organization, analysis, quality control, and report production.
Customer Content may be transmitted to third-party model, computing, hosting, or data providers when reasonably necessary to perform the requested service. Those providers may process and retain information under the contracts, account settings, security configurations, and legal requirements applicable to Aegis’s use of their services.

Aegis does not represent that every technology provider follows identical data-handling practices.
Aegis does not use automated processing to make a legally binding decision about your employment, credit, housing, insurance, medical care, or eligibility for a government benefit.
Aegis may use human review to verify, correct, supplement, or evaluate machine-assisted output.
Do not submit highly sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the requested analysis and you are authorized to provide it.
How We Disclose Information

Service Providers
Providers supporting hosting, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data processing, cybersecurity, analytics, communications, customer support, payment processing, accounting, and professional services.
These parties receive information only as reasonably necessary for their functions and subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.

Aegis does not operate as a data broker and does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Aegis does not knowingly disclose Customer Content for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising.
If Aegis’s practices materially change, we will update this Policy and provide any notice, consent mechanism, or opt-out required by applicable law.
Nevada consumers may submit a verified request directing Aegis not to make a future sale of covered information through the Contact page identified below.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Aegis and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for:

authentication and security;
preference storage;
performance measurement;
diagnostics; and
understanding how the website is used.

Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from encrypted backups, legal archives, fraud-prevention records, or records that Aegis is required to retain.

No website, transmission method, storage system, or security measure is completely secure. Aegis therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Processing
Aegis is based in the United States. Information submitted from another country may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where Aegis or its service providers operate.
Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws different from the laws of your residence.
Where applicable law requires a specific transfer mechanism or safeguard, Aegis will use an appropriate mechanism for the relevant processing.
Children
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under eighteen.
Aegis does not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child through an account or purchase. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Confidential and Third-Party Information
Aegis’s receipt of information does not waive any privilege or confidentiality protection and does not automatically create an attorney-client or other professional relationship.
Before submitting information concerning another person, you must determine that you have a lawful basis and appropriate authority to do so.
Aegis may decline to process or may request removal of information that creates disproportionate legal, privacy, security, or confidentiality risk.
Changes to This Policy
Aegis may update this Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, providers, or business practices.
The current version will display its effective date. If a change materially expands how existing personal information is used or disclosed, Aegis will provide appropriate notice and obtain consent where required by law.
